Packing of moveable is most important in moving. It is always good to pack each room separately. Packing the closet require special attention. This is the place where every one of the family dumps many things. It is also observed that while packing for moving, people used to forget closet. Packing of closet gives headache to many. But packing of closet is easy and manageable if some simple tips to be followed.
Simple tips on packing closet
A. First thing is remove everything. Don’t make a mistake of sorting the things in the closet. There is always very little place. Remove all the things from closet to the nearby room or in the hallway.
B. Now the closet is empty, it is easy to clean. Clean it from bottom to top, vacuum the floor and wash every thing from floor to wall.
C. Now let the closet to dry. Start sorting the items from closet. First sorting is making
two piles; one contains ‘useful’ items while other pile contains ‘not useful’ items. If you are doubtful about certain item than follow the rule of thumb, that is if you have not used an item for more than 2 years than it is ‘not useful’.
D. Remove the ‘not useful’ items by dumping them in to the bags and give it to charity, but before giving it to charity be sure that the item is not broken or worn out. If it is not fit for use than throw it in garbage. You may find some items that is of no use to you but is in good condition and you think that some one would buy them, than keep those items aside and label as ‘for sell’. You may try ebay or back yard sell to fetch some money from ‘not useful’ items.
E. Prepare the list of ‘useful’ items and than pack them all in one box.
